Incursions are expansions containing new gameplay scenarios added to Tom Clancy's The Division's post-launch.
The releases not only contain new missions, but also content updates for the entire game.
Get Ready for TCTD v1.1
Once you've reached level 30, you'll need to prepare your Agents for the upcoming game update releasing alongside the first incursion, Falcon Lost. You can find the full patch notes here, but the most important additions and changes are as follows:
In order to combat the much-maligned need for players to craft almost all of their High-End items, Named Enemies and Bosses that are level 30 or higher will now have a 100% drop rate for High-End items.
Unfortunately, while a guaranteed HE drop from a Named Enemy is awesome, the development team is also altering the amounts of crafting materials required / produced when building High-End crafting components or dismantling gear.
10 Standard materials instead of 5 to craft 1 Specialized.
15 Specialized materials instead of 5 to craft 1 High-End
10 High-End materials instead of 8 to craft 1 lvl 31 High-End
Deconstructing Standard items yields 1 Standard instead of 2.
Deconstructing High-End items yields 1 High-End instead of 2
This is intended to offset the ratio of crafted HE items vs items obtained from loot drops, but it means that you should convert as many crafting components to High-End as possible before launch on April 12th.
Launching alongside the new mission and gameplay elements are new Named High-End Weapons, specifically the Warlord assault rifle and the Valkyria SMG.
While it's unknown whether or not they will be available in-store, it's probably a good idea to have some extra cash and PC saved up for the new items that vendors will be carrying.
One of the other important additions coming in v1.1 is the ability to trade items with your fellow squad members. You'll be able to trade an item after acquiring it, but there are some very specific limitations on this ability:
Only items dropped by enemies can be traded.
Players can only share items within 2 hours of collecting the item.
Items can only be shared by/with players in your current squad, or with players who were in your group when the item was originally acquired.
