‘Until Dawn’ is sold on 25th August. Although it is marketed at the end of August, it managed to rank No.7 at NPD’s American sales list for August, while in UK market, it ranked No.2 at the first week. To say the least, the sales volume of the starting week is quite good.

Famous game media PlayStation Style asked in an interview with Supermassive “What’s your next game? Is it of the same type with ‘Until Dawn’ or a new project? Are you considering ‘Until Dawn 2 (or too early to consider about it)?”.

In replies of these questions, producer Pete Samuels said they gained experience from developing ‘Until Dawn’ and customers could look forward to their performances on new games, no matter horror games or games of other types. They did discuss how to create ‘Until Dawn 2’ but they didn’t want to just launch a conventional sequel. It couldn’t be the same characters and same dangers, even in different stories all the characters died. they would try something new in ‘Until Dawn 2’, but it was too early to talk about it.
